« Algerian-Russian military cooperation » Docking of Communication Ship « VIKTOR LEONOV at the Algiers’ port
Within the framework of implementing the Algerian-Russian military bilateral cooperation program, the Communication Ship “VIKTOR LEONOV” of the North Sea Russian fleet docked in April 16th, 2025 at the Algiers’ port from April 16th to 19th, 2025.
During this stopover, the mission Chief accompanied by his delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Brigadier General, Commander of the Central Maritime Façade/1stMR at the Algiers’ Naval Base headquarters 1st/MR. Cultural and sports activities will be organized for the ship crew.
This stopover will allow the exchange of expertise and enhancing cooperation between the two countries navies.
