Stopover of the Russian Navy warships detachment in Algiers
Within the framework of the embodiment of the bilateral Algerian-Russian military cooperation for 2022, the Russian Navy warships detachment of the Baltic Sea Fleet that include two Corvettes "STOIKIY 545" and «SOOBRAZITELNIY 531", will make a stopover in Algiers port, from October 18th to 21st, 2022 where the exercise “Joint Naval Manoeuver – 2022” will be performed conjointly with the Russian side, in the Central Maritime Façade/1st MR.
During this stopover, the head of the mission paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Central Maritime Façade/1st MR where several protocol, touristic and sports activities were scheduled for the Algerian and the Russian navy.
