Within the framework of fighting illegal immigration, Coast Guard units of Western Maritime Facade/2^nd MR, Central/1^st MR and Eastern/5^th MR, had intercepted, during the period of 11^th to 17^th, October 2023, many home-made boats, which resulted in the rescue of 731 persons.
