Within the framework of embodying the program of the Algerian-Spanish bilateral military cooperation activities for 2025, Mr. the Brigadier-General BELMIHOUB Abdelghani Commander of the Coast-guard National Service of the Naval Forces Command received in May 19th, 2025 at Algiers’ Naval Base/1stMR, the General Manuel NAVARRETE PANIAGUA, Chief of Borders Command and Maritime Police.
During this working session, the two parties discussed the means of consolidating the cooperation in terms of maritime security and safety and fighting the phenomenon of illegal immigration and human trafficking networks in the occidental basin of the Mediterranean.
