Docking of the Patrol Vessel of the Indian Navy « INS SUMEDHA »
Within the framework of the implementation of the military cooperation program with India, a Patrol Vessel of the Indian Navy « INS SUMEDHA » docked in september 20th, 2023 at Algiers port in a stopover of four (04) days.
In the sidelines of this stopover, the Patrol Vessel Commander paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Brigadier General Amar DEBBICHE, Commander of the Maritime Façade Center/1stMR, and in accordance with the military protocols and customs, several cultural, sport and tourist activities were performed for the benefit of the Indian Patrol Vessel crew.
During this stopover, an exercise « Passex » will be implemented at sea between High Seas Tug Boat « El Mousanid » n° 703 of the Algerian Navy and the Indian Patrol Vessel which is expected in september 23rd, 2023 at the Maritime Façade Center/ 1stMR.
