Within the framework of the Algerian-French bilateral military cooperation, for 2023, the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, the Naval Forces Commander, proceeded to the inspection ceremony of the multi-missions Fregate El Moudamir n° 911 at the North quay of the Admiralty Algiers Naval Base /1^stMR in September 21^st,2023 before its departure in a mission of implementing the operational cooperation activity “Rais Hamidou-2023”, during the period of September 25^th to October 05^th, 2023 in the Western Mediterranean. This activity will be implemented in different phases and will include two (02) stopovers where the first stopover will be in Toulon/France port and the second will be in the Algiers’ port.


     This activity is integrated within the framework of enhancing the cooperation and partnership dynamic between our Naval Forces and the French Marine in the fields of naval surveillance and security.

     The Naval Forces Commander inspected the ship and its crew during the inspection ceremony.
