Within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation with the Tunisian partner, the two high sea patrol vessels of the Tunisian sea Army «JUGURTHA 610» and «SOPHONISBE 613» accosted in july 22nd, 2024 at the Algiers’ port.
This stopover falls within the framework of the instruction campaign “Summer-2024” during the period of July 22nd-26th, 2024.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the vessel Commander paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Brigadier-General Abdelhakim AOUCHICHE, Commander of the Central Maritime Façade/1stMR, during this stopover, cultural and sports activities program was scheduled for the benefit of the Tunisian patrol vessels crew.
activity aims to enhance the joint military cooperation between our Naval Forces and the Tunisian sea army.
