Opening of 2025-2026 universty year at the Naval Higher School in Tamenfoust/1stMR
Mr. The Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH Naval Forces Commander supervised in 23 September 2025 at the Naval Higher School in Tamenfoust/1stMR « the late Moudjahid Major General Mohamed BOUTIGHANE », the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 universty year with the presence of high-ranking personnel and officers from the Naval Forces Command and professors as well as the university family and students.
After the welcome ceremony, Mr. The Major General Naval Forces Commander delivered a speech in which he stressed on the importance of focusing on training the military personnel particularly officers, a quality and complementary training in line with the technological development reached in the world, combining the military rigour and modern science and field application in order to create a new generation of high-ranking personnel able to command and innovate in difficult circumstances with the necessity of abiding by noble military values and military discipline, thus these values distinguish our Naval Forces and enable them to face the challenges, after that the official opening of 2025-2026 school year was announced, Mr. The Major General Naval Forces Commander followed a presentation on the available training programs given by Mr. The General Director of Education in School.
Mr. The Major General followed at the training centre on the ship security the execution tow exercises of fighting for survival on boats and had also visited the training centre in navigation of the school, that important structure allowed to the students to know elementary techniques of navigation with application of the different related activities.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. The Major General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH Naval Forces Commander signed the school’s guest book.
