Within the framework of the humanitarian missions and efforts of the Naval Forces Command Coast - Guard units, related to human lives rescue at sea, and following the receipt by the National Center for Maritime Surveillance and Rescue Operations at sea/1stMR in July 25th, 2025 at 16:10pm an evacuation request of an Algerian father with his two daughters were stuck on a marine rock called Les ilots situated in 700 meters in the north east of Tipaza port due to the bad weather conditions.
Immediately, a rescue operation at sea was launched throughout the engagement of Research and Rescue Helicopter “AS-16” of the 560th Squadron of Research and Rescue Helicopters. The father and his two daughters were evacuated towards Hospital Public Establishment.
