Docking of war vessels detachment of the Russian fleet of the North Sea at Oran port
In implementation of the Algerian-Russian joint military cooperation program, the war vessels detachment of the Russian fleet of the North Sea, composed of the Fregate “Admiral Gorshkov” and the Replenishment Oiler “Akademik Pashin” docked in july 26th, 2024 at Oran port in a stopover till july 30th, 2024.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the detachment commander paid a courtesy visit to Mr. DEBBICHE Amar, Commander of the Western Maritime Façade/2ndMR. During this stopover, several cultural, sports and touristic activities were scheduled for the benefit of the Russian detachment crew.
This activity aims to consolidate the joint military cooperation between our Naval Forces and the Russian Navy.
