The Naval Forces Command organizes information days on the Naval Forces in Janet
In implementation of the People’s National Army communication plan 2024-2025, and within the framework of consolidating links between the People’s National Army and different categories in the society throughout the national territory, the Naval Forces Command organizes information days from January 26th to 28th, 2025 at the youth hostel in Janet city. the military sector commander supervised the event’s opening in Janet on behalf of Mr. the Major General the fourth military region commander with the presence of the civil and the military local authorities and representatives of the national media.
This event aims to bringing the Naval Forces closer to citizens and getting them to know their missions and vital roles in preserving the national sovereignty at sea throughout showing capacities and competences of the Naval Forces, in addition to shedding the light on the importance of the maritime security in protecting the national economy, notably in the light of regional and international challenges with providing information on professional opportunities available in the Naval Forces to attract the young national capacities.
This communication event includes an exhibition of equipment and modern naval materials and documentary shows on the history and the Naval Forces’ achievements and it will be an opportunity for open meetings between the public and high officials of the Naval Forces to answer their questions.
The public is invited to participate in this communication event which aims to reinforce the links between the military institution and society, and consolidating the public perception of the Naval Forces role in protecting the country.
