Docking of the aircraft carrier “RFA ARGUS A135” of the British Royal Navy
Within the framework of the Algerian-British military cooperation, the aircraft carrier “RFA ARGUS A135” docked on Sunday, November 27th, 2022 at Algiers port, for a stopover which will last till November 29th, 2022.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the Chief of the mission paid a courtesy visit to the General DEBICHE Amar, Commander of Central Maritime Façade/ 1st MR. The program also included several cultural visits and tourist visits for the benefit of the British vessel crew.
During this stopover, the exercise of “naval security” was implemented in November 29th-30th, 2022 in the operational area situated in the North of Algiers away from the territorial water with the participation of our naval forces units as well as the Fregate “Erradii” n° 910 and a landing and supply vessel “Kalaat Beni Hammed” n° 472.
