The Naval Forces Commander in a work and inspection visit to the East Maritime Façade units/5thMR
The Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander paid a work and inspection visit to different units deployed throughout the territory of the East Maritime Façade/5thMR, from January 29th to February 01st, 2024, where he consulted the units’ combat level readiness as well as the personnel and material readiness.
Mr the Major-General Naval Forces Commander started his inspection visit from the Principal Naval Base Jijel, where he was received by the Major-General Allaoua CHAOUCHE, Commander of the East Maritime Façade/5thMR. The Major-General Naval Forces Commander held a visit after that with East Maritime Façade Units’ Commanders. The Major-General followed a comprehensive presentation on the level of combat readiness of its units, where he gave a series of instructions and orientations related to the necessity of preserving the operational readiness in its high levels.
Then he moved to different units deployed throughout the territory of the East Maritime Façade/5thMR in order to consult the personnel and the material readiness. The Major-General concluded this visit by signing the guest books of each unit.
