Docking of the Romanian Frigate « REGINA MARIA » support group of « SEA GUARDIAN » operation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization at the Algiers’ port
Within the framework of implementing the Algerian military bilateral program with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Romanian Frigate « REGINA MARIA » support group of « SEA GUARDIAN » operation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization docked in September 29th, 2025 at the Algiers’ port for a stopover from september 29th to October 1st, 2025.
During this stopover, the mission Chief and the accompanied delegation paid a courtesy visit to Mr. The General Commander of the Central Maritime Façade/1stMR at the Naval Base headquarters in Algiers. Cultural and sport activities will be organized for the ship crew members.
A « PASSEX » exercise type will be executed and will allow the exchange of expertise and the consolidation of cooperation between the two countries marines.
