The Naval Forces Commander in a work and inspection visit to the West Maritime Façade units/2ndMR
Mr. the Major-General Mahfoud BENMEDDAH, Naval Forces Commander paid a work and inspection visit to the West Maritime Façade units/2ndMR, from December 24th to 26th, 2024, where he stood on the level of units’ combat readiness and the personnel and material state of readiness. This visit falls within the framework of inspection visits included within the combat preparation readiness for 2024-2025.
In the beginning, Mr. the Major-General, Naval Forces Commander, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. the Major-General Commander of the second Military Region then he moved to the Principal Naval Base Mers El Kebir/2ndMR. After the reception ceremony, the Major-General Naval Forces Commander laid a wreath of flowers in front of the monument of the martyr “Bouceif BELHADJI” which the Naval Base headquarters bears his name, where he was received by Mr. the Brigadier General, Commander of the Principal Naval Base Mers El Kebir/2ndMR.Mr. the Major-General Naval Forces Commander held a meeting with the West Maritime Façade units where MR. the Major-General followed a comprehensive presentation on the level of operational readiness of its units where he gave a series of instructions and directives related to the necessity of preserving the readiness in its higher levels.
Mr. the Major-General then moved to different units deployed through the West Maritime Façade Territory/2nd MR to stand on the state of operational readiness of units and life condition of the personnel. At the end, Mr. the Major-General the Naval Forces Commander held an assessment meeting with the West Maritime Façade units Commanders.
