Docking of the Frigate "SANTA MARIA F-81" of the Spanish Navy at the Algiers’ port
Within the framework of the bilateral military cooperation program implementation with the North Atlantic, Treaty Organization the Frigate "SANTA MARIA F-81" of the Spanish Navy docks at the Algiers’ port during the period of November 27th to 29th, 2023.
On the sidelines of this stopover, the Frigate Commander paid a courtesy visit to the Brigadier General AMAR DEBBICHE, Commander of Maritime Façade Center/1stMR, at the Naval Base in Algiers Chahid “Ali LA POINTE” /1st MR, and according to the military protocols and customs, several cultural, touristic activities were executed for the benefit of the Spanish Frigate crew.
During this stopover, the High Seas Tug Boat “El Moundjid” N° 701 participated in the "PASSEX" exercise with the Spanish Frigate "Santa Maria F-81" in November 29th, 2023 in the Maritime Façade Center/ 1stMR. This activity aims to enhance the joint military cooperation between our Naval Forces and the Spanish Navy.
