On April 8th, 2025, the National Gendarmerie Command held a press conference for national media, including public and private, written, audiovisual, and electronic press outlets, the purpose of this conference was to highlight the activities of the National Gendarmerie units during 2024 and to recognize the efforts made in the various fields of its intervention.     The conference was led by Colonel Chemmak Nejmeddine, Head of the Prevention and Public Security Division, Colonel Djamel Dendani, Head of the Road Safety Division of the National Gendarmerie Command, and lieutenant Colonel Toualbia Tarek from the Judicial Police Division.
