Within the framework of working and inspection visits to the different National Gendarmerie Units, Mr Major General Commander of the National Gendarmerie conducted a visit to the 3rd Regional Command territory of Béchar, on October 8th and 9th, 2024 to inquire about the operational readiness as well as executing the combat preparation program of the Units.


     Following the welcoming ceremony and the presentation of honors at the Deployment Airbase in Béchar, the Major General Commander of the National Gendarmerie proceeded to the headquarters of the 3rd Military Region for a courtesy visit to Mr. the Major General Commander of the 3rd Military Region of Béchar. This visit included an inspection of the 9th Border Guard Group and its subordinate units. Then he went to the 32nd intervention group of the National Gendarmerie in Béchar, where he met the staff, learned about their concerns and provided various instructions and guidelines.


     At the end of the visit, the Major General, held a meeting broadcast via Visio conference for all the executives and unit leaders under the 3rd Regional Command, during which he issued several instructions and guidelines aimed at enhancing professional performance in order to maintain public peace and security . He also emphasized the need to focus on the human element and improve working conditions to increase operational efficiency for serving the nation and citizens.
