Mister the General, Chief of Staff of the National Gendarmerie chaired, today, on May 09th 2023, at the National Gendarmerie Command headquarter, the opening ceremony of the national forum on " the medical and veterinary care for cynotechnical groups ", in which took part of the representatives of various health services military, moreover, the representatives of the Forces Commands, the National Security General Directorate, Civil Protection General Directorate, representatives of the ministerial departments, a group of university professors and researchers, as well as the National Gendarmerie executives.


     This forum aims, on the medical side, to update the data and to exchange information on medical expertise in the military sector. It is also sheds light on advanced medicine, the identification of the epidemic threats, the outbreak management and preventing associating risks.


     As for the veterinary aspect, the forum focuses on diseases and epidemics, which threaten the canine resource, along with preventive measures, by exchanging information on the surgery, the imaging and first aid. It allows for updating data on veterinary administrative management of the canine resource, discussing the future prospects for the dog’s reproduction and improving breeds.

     The contributions of representatives from various institutions, university professors as well as executives of the National Gendarmerie, followed by the attendee’s discussions, made it possible to formulate a whole of recommendations aimed at enhancing control over the means and the working methods designed to ensure the safety of these resources.
