Brigadier General Yahya Ali Ouelhadj, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, has taken, on January 15th, 2023, a working and inspection visit to the National Gendarmerie units in the Territory Group of Bejaia, the Road Security Territorial Squadron in Sidi Aich and the 41st Intervention Group of the National Gendarmerie in Bejaia, where he closely examined the reality of the units operational activity as well as the individuals readiness in the field and the extent of road map implementation related to public security and safety established by the Command, and the firm will and commitment of the National Gendarmerie employees to fight persistently crime in all its forms, in order to achieve security in its highest manifestations, to positively reflect on the citizens' sense of peace and tranquility.


     After that, the Brigadier General has held an orientation meeting with the officers, executives and employees of the National Gendarmerie Territory Group and the 41st Intervention Group of the National Gendarmerie in Bejaia, in which he has appreciated the continuous efforts made by the members of the National Gendarmerie in order to protect the citizen and his property. In addition, he has asserted to set a public safety road map and to exert more efforts to defeat crime in all its forms, by adopting an approach that involves the citizen as a main partner in the security equation.
