Within the framework of the Algerian-Italian military cooperation, the Italian Carabinieri Lieutenant General Teo LUZI made, on February 20th 2023, a two days official visit to the National Gendarmerie Command headquarters, accompanied by Brigadier General Giuseppe De Regi and Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Capriolo.


    The Italian delegation has been received at the National Gendarmerie headquarters, by the Brigadier General, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, where a small meeting was held during which the two parties have discussed about the security cooperation means and the experiences exchange between the two sides. This visit comes in the context of enhancing exchange and consolidating constructive cooperation relationships, in various fields, including the security field, especially between the institutions of both countries. In this context, the delegation went to the National Institute for Forensic Evidence and Criminology of the National Gendarmerie in Bouchaoui where they inquired about the facilities that this scientific pole contains.
