On Monday July 21st, 2025, Major- General Sid Ahmed BERROUMANA, National Gendarmerie Commander by interim, presided over the installation ceremony of the Brigadier General LAOUAMRI Karim as Regional Commander of the National Gendarmerie in Tamanrasset, succeeding the Brigadier General NEZIHA Laaredj. The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the sixth Regional command of the National Gendarmerie in Tamanrasset, in the presence of military authorities.      After being received by Major- General Mohamed ADJROUD, Commander of the sixth military region, at the regional, in the presence of several senior officers, Major- General Sid Ahmed BERROUMANA, National Gendarmerie Commander by interim proceeded to the headquarters of the sixth Regional command of the National Gendarmerie in Tamanrasset/ 6th Military Region, where he oversaw the ceremony of handing over and receiving the national flag,the authenticatication of the minute of the transfer of authority, concluded with the signing of the guestbook.
