As part of strengthening internal communication within the institutions of the National Gendarmerie, the National Gendarmerie Command organized, on February 23rd, 2025, the 5th National Symposium for Information and Communication Officers under the theme "Information and Communication in the National Gendarmerie: Reality and Prospects." This symposium aims, through the exchange of experiences among communication and training officers, to develop effective communication methods.


    The symposium was inaugurated by the Brigadier General, Inspector General of the National Gendarmerie, who emphasized the importance of communication in clearly conveying information and correcting misconceptions about risks, thereby enhancing awareness and changing negative behaviors. He also highlighted the role of communication in encouraging individuals to adopt preventive measures to protect themselves and their communities, as well as in fostering a culture of safety and crisis preparedness with efficiency.


    The event witnessed the participation of information and communication officers, both on place and via remote conferencing, representing various structures of the National Gendarmerie, including intervention units, Border Guard Units, and Training Institutions. At the conclusion of the proceedings, a series of recommendations were issued to improve internal communication methods and enhance their effectiveness within the different units of the National Gendarmerie.
