With the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan of year 1444 of Hegira, and in order to guarantee the citizens’ safety and peace throughout this holy month, the National Gendarmerie Command has traced a total plan to secure the road network, various public spaces, as well as the worship places located in the territory of competence, by the installation fixed and mobiles roadblocks supported by the National Gendarmerie air escadrilles in order to ensure and guarantee public peace and safety, and the protection of the people and goods.

    This plan is also based in its section relating to the economic police missions on intensifying the activity which aims to fight against all forms of speculation, monopoly and fraud, in particular with regard to the subsidized products and food of large consumption, through the intensification of the roadblocks and the patrols, and to put, therefore, the different stations and communication means at the disposal of the citizens in order to announce any possible infringement, and this through, the free number 1055 , the Facebook page TARIKI and the pre complaint website ppgn.mdn.dz for an immediate intervention, seeing that the National Gendarmerie renews its whole confidence in citizen cooperation and his security feeling.

    The security plan established by the National Gendarmerie also includes the aspect of the road safety during this holy month by accompanying the road users and achieving the set goals, which are to reduce the road accidents, by intensifying the presence on ground in the whole of the road network located in the National Gendarmerie competence space. Moreover, public awareness campaigns to the drivers of various vehicle categories on the extent of the gravity of the road accidents and their tragic consequence, in particular caused by the behaviors of certain drivers under the effect of fast which are translated negatively in the way of driving, as well as the danger the excessive speed and loss of concentration in particular just before the end of fast, and that by coordination with the various active partners in the field of the road safety.
