Mr. Major General Yahya Ali Ouelhadj, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, presided, on June 25th , 2024, the gradua tion ceremony for six (06) promotions of officers of the National Gendarmerie who successfully completed quality training in line with developments in the military and academic field at the National Gendarmerie Higher School of Zeralda, the martyr "Mouaz M'hammed". The ceremony took place in the presence of ministers and representatives of various military, civil and judicial authorities.
     The outgoing classes, honored to bear the name of the martyr "Bouakaz Mohand", consist of:
    - The twenty-seventh (27th) class of staff courses in National Gendarmerie specialization
    - The ninth (09th) class of staff courses in logistics specialization
    - The sixty-fifth (65th) class of perfection courses;
    - The fifth (05th) class of specialized courses for active officers;
    - The fifty-seventh (57th) class of specialized courses for active officer cadets
    - The sixth class (06th) class of active officer cadets “third year LMD" degree in Law and Public Security.

    Today's outgoing promotions have received military and professional training, equal and balanced at the theoretical and practical levels, given them a high level of competence which will inevitably enable them in the future to carry out their tasks with confidence and competence, particularly in the Public Security and Judicial Police field, which strengthens the security and safety of citizens.
     The graduation ceremony began with the inspection by the Major General, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, of the squares of the graduated classes on the parade ground, followed by the honoring of the top students by awarding them ranks and certificates,.
    Several military and sporting exhibitions then took place at this ceremony including exhibitions of Kuk Sool wong, motorcycles and cynotechnical personnel, as well as helicopter parades in which elements of the Special Intervention Detachment participated, the landing of snipers elite from helicopters and demonstrations of air-medical evacuation. The ceremony ended with a military parade during which the outgoing officers demonstrated great mastery and perfect harmony reflecting the high level of the training they underwent.
    On this graduation ceremony, the Commander of the National Gendarmerie honored the family of the martyr "Bouakaz Mohand", whose name the outgoing classes bear, in recognition of the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs and valiant fighters.
    At the end of the ceremony, Major General, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, signed the school's Golden book.
