The Major General, Commander by interim of the National Gendarmerie, Appoints Colonel Ben Hamamouche Belkacem as Commander of the Special Detachment for Intervention of the National Gendarmerie .

 
     Major General Sid Ahmed BERROUMANA, Commander by interim of the National Gendarmerie, presided over the ceremony on July 27th, 2025, to appoint Colonel Ben Hamamouche Belkacem as Commander of the Special Detachment for Intervention of the National Gendarmerie, succeeding Brigadier General Djebbari Abdellah. This appointment is part of the 2025 officer transfer plan, aimed at enhancing performance and increasing efficiency in intervention missions. The ceremony took place at the Detachment’s headquarters.
 
  
     In his speech, the Major General urged the staff members to maintain military discipline and work under the authority of the new commander with seriousness and dedication, implementing his instructions in the interest of the service and in accordance with the laws of the Republic and military regulations. He expressed his best wishes to Colonel Ben Hamamouche for success in his new duties and encouraged all personnel to support him faithfully and sincerely to ensure continued mission effectiveness.
 
  
     The ceremony continued with the handover of the national flag and concluded with the signing of the Command transfer report and the command’s golden register.
