As part of the working and inspection visits to the various components of the people's National Army, during the holy month of Ramadan, General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of People's National Army Staff, paid a working and inspection visit, on Thursday, March 28th 2024, to the headquarters of the National Gendarmerie Command, where he met with its executives and personnel.

     After the welcoming ceremony accompanied by Major General YAHYA ALI OUALHADJ, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, the General observed a moment of silence in memory of the martyr and hero " Larbi ben Mhidi ", whose Command headquarters bears his name, and laid a wreath of flowers in front of his commemorative stele, before reciting the Fatiha in his memory and that of the valiant Chouhada.

     Then, during his meeting with executives and personnel, the General gave an orientation speech, which was followed by the personnel of the Command units via the Visio conference system, through which he emphasized the utmost care for the progress of the military preparedness program, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. He also urged the personnel of the National Gendarmerie to continue their work and exert more efforts to ensure the security and safety of the citizens in every inch of the pure land of Algeria, and they should strive to keep pace with the developments occurring in their jurisdiction field to resolutely meet all disgraceful phenomena that threaten the cohesion and unity of our people.

     At the end, the General followed the interventions of the National Gendarmerie Command Staff, and gave to those present a set of general instructions and guidance.
    Mr. the General also inspected various structures and facilities of the National Gendarmerie headquarters, where he stressed the necessity of providing all appropriate professional and living conditions for the employees, especially during this holy month, to perform their assigned tasks to the fullest extent.
