Brigadier General Jaafar Mohamed Appointed Commander of the Higher School of the National Gendarmerie .

 
     On July 29th, 2025, Major General Sid Ahmed BERROUMANA, Commander by interim of the National Gendarmerie, presided over the appointing ceremony of Brigadier General Jaafar Mohamed as Commander of the Higher School of the National Gendarmerie, succeeding Colonel Yakoub Youssef. This appointment is part of the 2025 officer transfer plan, which aims to strengthen efficiency and performance in leading training structures and to enhance leadership capabilities across all levels of responsibility.
 
  
     On this occasion, the Major General called on all school personnel to uphold military discipline and to work under the authority of the new commander with seriousness and dedication, implementing his instructions in a manner that instills the values of loyalty and sacrifice in service of the Nation. He also encouraged them to help build a motivating educational environment, one that embraces openness and innovation in military and security training methods, and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork to achieve the set goals.
 
  
     The Major General emphasized that the Higher School of the National Gendarmerie is a space for excellence and discipline, and a breeding ground for shaping the leadership skills of the next generation of officers. He stressed that the new leadership must uphold professional standards and improve performance to meet ever-evolving security challenges. He extended his sincere wishes of success to Brigadier General Jaafar Mohamed in his new duties. The ceremony continued with the handover of the national flag and concluded with the signing of the command transfert report and the golden register of command.
