Presentation
The Training Center of the National Gendarmerie is located in the commune of Djenine Bourezg of the wilaya of Naâma at the level of the 2nd Military
Region, the closest military unit to this center is the National Gendarmerie Territorial Brigade of Djenine Bourezg and the Hajrat El Meguil Border
Guard Autonomous Squadron2 4. This center specializes in recruitment, training of contractual corporal students, in order to strengthen the various
units of the National Gendarmerie.
Creation
The Center is considered as a military barracks inherited from the colonial era, was built in 1988, designated as a Training
Center by virtue of a ministerial decree dated 2005 for the purpose of training contract corporal students for the benefit of the Border Guard Units
Command, subsequently annexed in 2009 to the National Gendarmerie Command Schools Directorate, in order to strengthen the various units of the National
Gendarmerie whose name was changed from the Border Guard training Center to the National Gendarmerie Training Center of Djenine Bourezg.
