The National Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers School of Miliana (Ain Defla)/ 1st Military
Region in charge of the technical and administrative training of Non-Commissioned Officers.
Création de l’école
The National Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers School of Miliana is an old building, dated from colonial era, was built during 1861. After independence,
the People’s National Army transferred this center to a Non-Commissioned Officers Transmission School 1st Military Region.
- In 1991, according to ministerial decree, it was transferred to the corps of National Gendarmerie as a head office of the Intervention and Reserve Group number 03.
- In 2003, it was transferred to a training center for contractual corporal students.
- In 2010, it was transferred from training center to a National Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers school of Meliana.
- In 2016, the School was baptized in the name of the chahid named " Ammar Essghir ".
Trainings ensured by the school
The school ensures these various Trainings formations:
1-Specialty of information and Telecommunications system:
A training especially for corporal students resulting from the auxiliary’s staff ranks, and for the non-commissioned officers students to obtain
a professional military Qualification 2nd degree Specialty of information and Telecommunications system (explorer), and for the non-commissioned
officers students to obtain a professional military Qualification 1st + 2nd degree Specialty of information and Telecommunications system.
2- Administration Specialty:
A training especially for the non-commissioned officers students to obtain a professional military Certificate 2nd degree Specialty administration
and a professional military Qualification 1st + 2nd degree Specialty administration.
3- Computing Specialty:
A training Specialized in computing for the non-commissioned officers students to obtain computing Certificate option “programming”.
