Presentation
The objects have been organized following the historical timeline which extends from the prehistory to the modern time. The Central Museum of the Army has the privilege to possess precious objects, those collections are divided according to their historical period:
- Prehistoric age;
- ancient age;
- Islamic age;
- Modern age;
- contemporary age.
As well as the resistance periods and the armed struggle
- The popular revolts;
- National movement;
- The National Liberation War (1954-1962);
- The People's National Army.
When entering the museum, the visitors will find in front of them big statues representing the greatest figures in the Algerian's history throughout the ages:
- Emir Abdelkader;
- Rais Hammidou;
- Abdelmoumen Ben Ali;
- Jugurtha.
